My SciFi/Adventure novel, “Fields of Prosperis,” just won a first place in the 2025 Cygnus Awards for Science Fiction, part of the Chanticleer International Book Awards. Here I am with Kiffer Brown, the CEO of Chanticleer.
The writers’ conference took place in beautiful Bellingham, WA. I enjoyed two incredible classes taught by Donald Maas, one on crafting microtension into every scene and another on building scenes around change. There were also talks on marketing, podcasts, and creating audiobooks. The event was wonderfully hosted by the generous Chanticleer staff.
